Looking Ahead at Eden

Several classes and small groups are currently looking at the Discernment Starter. The Discernment Starter is a starting point for developing a Mission Statement at Eden. The Discernment Starter can be found on this website, by clicking on the Discernment Starter page. It will be discussed at the June 1 congregational meeting at noon.

The Associated Churches of Moundridge will host Vacation Bible School for youth.

Vacation Bible School for Pre-K through 6th grade will be held May 27 through May 30. Our curriclum is entitled "Listen Up! Messages From God." Pre-K through 4th grade will be held at the Moundridge Elementary School and 5th and 6th grade will be at West Zion Church. If you would like to volunteer or you have further questions please contact Michelle Durst, VBS representative. Help us spread the Good New of Jesus Christ to our youth!

High School Youth Service Experiece at Camp Mennoscah

High School youth will be taking part in a service experience July 14-18. This year they will be going to Camp Mennoscah to work. There are many projects that need to be done including:

1. Work on the new house being built for the camp director
2. Remodeling a bedroom in one staff house to make a new more privatized nurses station and bedroom.
3. Exterior painting on at least one building
4. Tree cleanup/trimming and cutting/stacking firewood.
5. Probably a number of other projects that may be dreamed up in anticipation of our group arriving.
